Legal Withdrawal Period

In accordance with applicable legal provisions, you have a 14-day period from the receipt of your products to exercise your right of withdrawal without providing any justification or incurring penalties. After communicating your decision to exercise your right of withdrawal within this 14-day period, you have an additional 14 days to return the product(s) concerned.

Contractual Withdrawal Period

At The-bucket-hat.com, we offer you the possibility to exercise your right of withdrawal within a 14-day period from the receipt of your products. You then have an additional 14 days from the communication of your withdrawal decision to return the product(s) concerned.

For orders containing multiple products, the 14-day period to notify us of your decision starts from the receipt of the last product in your order.

Details on how to exercise your right of withdrawal are provided below.

Conditions for Exercising the Right of Withdrawal

When exercising the right of withdrawal within the stated period:

• Only the price of the purchased product(s) and shipping fees will be refunded. Return shipping costs remain your responsibility.
• Returns must be made in their original condition and complete (including packaging, accessories, instructions, etc.) to allow them to be resold in a new condition, and, if possible, accompanied by a copy of the purchase invoice for optimized processing.
• If the product is depreciated due to handling beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, and proper functioning, you may be held liable.

You may exercise your right of withdrawal through any means, such as by post or email, expressing your clear intent to withdraw and specifying the order concerned.

Once the form or declaration of withdrawal is sent to The-bucket-hat.com no later than 14 days after receiving your order, you must return the product(s) concerned to The-bucket-hat.com‘s address within a reasonable period and no later than 14 days from the submission of the form or declaration of withdrawal.

Applicable Timeframe Rules

In accordance with Council Regulation No. 1182/71/EEC of June 3, 1971, on rules for time periods, dates, and deadlines:

1. The day the contract is concluded or the day the goods are received is not counted in the withdrawal period mentioned in Article L. 221-18.
2. The period begins at the start of the first hour of the first day and ends at the expiration of the last hour of the last day.
3. If this period ends on a Saturday, Sunday, or public holiday, it is extended to the next business day.

Extended Withdrawal Period

If the information regarding the right of withdrawal has not been provided to the consumer as stipulated in Article L. 221-5 (2°), the withdrawal period is extended by 12 months from the expiration of the initial withdrawal period outlined in Article L. 221-18.

However, if this information is provided during the extended period, the withdrawal period will end 14 days from the day the consumer receives this information.

The burden of proof for exercising the right of withdrawal in accordance with Article L. 221-21 rests with the consumer.

Refunds

In the event of exercising the right of withdrawal, The-bucket-hat.com will refund the amounts paid (including shipping fees) no later than 14 days from the date we are informed of your decision to withdraw, using the same payment method as the one used for the purchase (unless you expressly agree to another method of payment).

This refund date may be deferred until the product is recovered or until you provide proof of shipment, whichever comes first.

Important Notes:

• We are not obliged to refund any additional fees if you explicitly chose a more expensive delivery method than the standard delivery option offered on The-bucket-hat.com.
• In the case of full or partial payment by gift vouchers, these cannot be refunded in cash, by check, or by credit card. Refunds for purchases made using gift vouchers will be issued exclusively in the form of gift vouchers of equal value to the original payment.
• We do not accept cash-on-delivery returns under any circumstances.

Size Exchanges:
For size exchanges, we will reimburse your return shipping costs up to a limit of €5.
