Disruptions Related to COVID-19
As the coronavirus continues to spread across Europe, governments and businesses are implementing measures to prevent further outbreaks. We want to keep you informed about the measures taken by delivery carriers and the current status of their services.
Our order preparation teams face the same constraints as everyone else due to the virus (childcare, work stoppages). Therefore, delivery delays and longer response times to claims are expected in the coming weeks.
DELIVERY INFORMATION
- All orders are prepared and shipped within 24 to 48 hours by our team (excluding weekends and public holidays).
- The-bucket-hat.com delivers to English-speaking regions.
- For every order placed, you will receive a confirmation email, followed by a shipping confirmation email that includes your tracking number.
- During busy periods, order preparation may take up to 72 hours (3 business days).
- The choice of carrier and shipping cost may vary depending on the weight, quantity, availability of the products, the cart total, and the destination country.
- Colissimo (home delivery, pickup point, or post office): Delivery within 8 to 15 business days.
Some orders may involve multiple suppliers, meaning items will be shipped separately.
SHIPPING FEES
- For orders below $50, the shipping fee is $5.90.
- For orders over $50, shipping is free.
The-bucket-hat.com reserves the right to modify or waive shipping fees for a limited period without prior notice to customers.
Under no circumstances can a third party claim a refund for the shipping fees applicable at the time of purchase. Shipping fee information is displayed at all times in the header of every page on the site, as well as during the order confirmation step.
REFUND POLICY
Our refund policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since the delivery of your order, unfortunately, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.
Conditions for Returns:
- The item must be unused and in the same condition as when you received it.
- It must also be in its original packaging.
Non-returnable items:
- Gift cards.
To complete your return, you must provide a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
Partial Refunds:
In certain situations, only partial refunds are granted (if applicable):
- Any item not in its original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
- Any item returned more than 30 days after delivery.
Defective Item(s):
If your order is delivered defective, either entirely or partially, you may request a replacement or refund for the affected item(s).

- Proof of payment (e.g., a screenshot of the confirmation email received at the time of purchase).
- A photo of the defective item(s).
In your email, please specify whether you prefer a replacement of the defective item(s) or a refund.
Order Cancellation (if applicable)
Most orders are processed within 24 hours. If you wish to cancel your order for any reason, please email us at info.lacisbox@gmail.com.
Since the majority of in-stock items are processed and/or shipped within 24 hours, it is crucial to contact us within this time frame to attempt cancellation before the order is processed and/or shipped.
Please note:
We cannot accept cancellation requests for orders that have already been processed.
Replacement and Store Credit (if applicable)
Exchanges:
You may exchange your item for a different size or color. Exchanges are only available for the same style in a different size and/or color.
Exchanging for a different product is strictly not allowed. We recommend returning your original item for a refund and placing a new order for the product you desire.
Refund Details and Store Credit
By default, refunds are issued as store credit.
If you wish to receive a refund using the original payment method, you must notify us via email at info.lacisbox@gmail.com. Orders that are exchanged or items returned/exchanged due to a manufacturing defect will not incur a restocking fee. Any fees will be applied to the original order, and the balance will be refunded.
Important Notes:
- Only the final price paid (after any discounts) will be refunded.
- Discount codes or store credits cannot be reissued and are non-refundable.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once we have received and inspected the returned item, we will send you an email to confirm receipt. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund request.
If your request is approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within a certain number of days.

If you haven’t received your refund yet:
- Check your bank account again.
- Contact your credit card company, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
- Contact your bank. There is often a processing time before a refund is posted.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, please email us at info.lacisbox@gmail.com.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit equal to the value of the returned item. Once we receive the returned item, a gift certificate will be sent to you by mail.

You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
The time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you can vary depending on where you live.
If you are shipping an item valued at more than €75, you should consider using a shipping service that offers tracking or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
