Refund policy

RETURNS

The items provided by https://www.the-bucket-hat.com/ are new and guaranteed against defects. They are identical to those sold in traditional stores and come from the referenced publishers and suppliers.

Our return policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have passed since the delivery of your order, unfortunately, we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

Conditions for Returns:

• Your item must be unused and in the same condition as when you received it.
• It must also be in its original packaging.

Defective Items:

• The customer must return new or unused items in their entirety, in their original, intact packaging, accompanied by all included accessories, instructions, and documentation (in their original shrink-wrap and with the corresponding invoice).
• In such cases, the buyer must send proof of the defect(s) to info.lacisbox@gmail.com (description and attached photos/videos).

To make a return, you must also provide a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. We will guide you through the steps once your case is accepted under our conditions.

Partial Refunds:
In certain situations, only partial refunds are granted (if applicable):

• Any item not in its original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
• Any item returned more than 30 days after delivery.

Refunds (if applicable):
Once we have received and inspected the returned item, we will email you to confirm receipt. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund request.

If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original payment method within a certain number of days.

Late or Missing Refunds (if applicable):
If you haven’t received your refund yet:

1. Check your bank account again.
2. Contact your credit card issuer, as there may be a delay before the refund is officially posted.
3. Contact your bank, as processing times often vary before a refund is posted.

Sale Items (if applicable):
Only regular-priced items can be refunded. Unfortunately, sale and/or promotional items are non-refundable.

Exchanges (if applicable):
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, please email us at info.lacisbox@gmail.com.

Shipping:

You are responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you can vary.

If you are returning an item valued at more than €75, you should consider using a shipping service that offers tracking or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Cash-on-Delivery Returns
We do not accept cash-on-delivery returns under any circumstances.

Right of Withdrawal

In the event of exercising the right of withdrawal, The-bucket-hat.com is required to refund the amounts paid by the customer, excluding return shipping costs. The refund will be issued within a maximum of 14 days from the date of receipt of the returned package(s). If this period expires on a Saturday, Sunday, or public holiday, it will be extended to the next business day.

Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal:
The right of withdrawal does not apply to the following purchases:

• Goods that have been opened and are non-returnable for hygiene or health protection reasons.
• Goods that are inseparably mixed with other items.
• Goods that have been opened and are no longer in their original condition, are damaged, or are missing components for reasons not due to our error.
